Kazo district Councillors clash with district leaders over shoddy projects

Rwemikoma Sub county Councillors in Kazo district are up in arms with other leaders; both political and technical staff in the district, over an issue of lack of transparent communication about the projects being done in the district.
These Councillors; led by the two district Councillors for Rwemikoma; Laban Munanura Kanyohora and Verina Katongana say the act of not communicating is not advisable, adding that prior communication would help them to keep supervising the project to ensure smooth running of the projects and avoid shoddy work.
This comes days after the floor of one of the classroom blocks of Rwemikoma Primary School, in the same area, which cost Uganda Shillings 17 million was discovered peeling off, one month after rehabilitating it.
These Councillors attribute the shoddy work to the Chief Administrative Officer and the Resident District Commissioner, whom they vow to write complaint letters to.
