Kazo district girls tipped on health safety measures

Kazo Resident District Commissioner, Ruth Sabiiti Kashaka has reminded girls to desist from premarital sexual temptations.
Speaking at the youth health seminar at St. John’s Migina COU in Migina Sub County, Kazo district, where girls from Migina parish had gathered for the same, yesterday, Kashaka told the girls that it is the way of getting free from Sexual Transmitted Diseases – STDs and unprepared pregnancies.
The seminar, organised by Kazo’s Hope Organisation, funded by the youths Leaders in the District with an aim of inspiring youths with optimism or Hope, under the ‘Give a youth Hope’ campaign 2021, was meant to give youths access to a chance of learning various issues concerning their mental, social and health aspects.
In attendance was the Resident District Commissioner, District Education Officer, sub county chairman, Parish Councillors and the Youth leaders in the area.
Alex Buherezo, the patron of the organization advised the youths to have role models that it is also one of the ways to help in the process of reaching their goals.
Agume Robert Rwabwizi, the District Education Officer-Kazo ,urged parents not to hang back education of their children.
